"Land of the Midnight Sun. If you’ve never had the chance to experience it, being in a place where the sun doesn’t set completely in the summer months can be a bit disorienting. Time exists differently; the evening drifts into the wee hours of the morning, and then suddenly the sun is rising up into the sky once again for a new day. It’s an otherworldly and magical experience! In the northern parts of Scandinavia, as well as Iceland and Greenland, there is sunlight for 24 hours a day around the time of the summer solstice. This phenomenon led to this region being referred to as 'the land of the midnight sun'.
