Special run through VaLes Bead Trailer (who sold approximately 20 models to Black Horse Ranch for their distribution, and provided models for sale at MH Congress). Per Nancy Young's 5th Edition of "Breyer Horses, Riders, & Animals Molds & Models", there is conflicting information regarding the original release date and quantity. Earliest date is 1978, but all or the majority of this run was sold in 1984. There is more emphasis that the run was closer to 100 pieces, but some say it could have been as high as 200.
