In 1998, this model was released in the Mare & Foal Series 2 - Belgian #3955. Set included a Dark Chestnut Show Pose Draft and Dark Chestnut Draft Foal. This set was considered a Special Run or Collector's Edition, and produced by Creata International for Specialty Market stores (smaller retail stores). This set has the same pattern, but different color, as the previous Mare & Foal set. The color appears to be a darker chestnut, and the Show Pose Draft has red ribbons.
In 2001, this set as #2334, was rebranded by the Nylint Corporation. The models were the exact same, including the copyright stamp, but packaged with a little person figure.
Breyer bought this mold and accessories in 2004.
