This model was released in the Series 2 Mare & Foal Collection - Belgian Set #3955, Winners Choice Micro Horses by Creata International in 1997. Breyer bought this mold in 2004.
Set #39551 consisted of two of the Mare & Foal Collection sets packaged together: Mustang and Belgian; Appaloosa and Pinto; Arabian and Quarter Horse; and, Percheron and Morgan.
This set was produced for Mass Market stores (larger retail stores like Target).
