This model could be a red roan, leopard chestnut appaloosa or flea-bit chestnut. White or tannish white model with a red chestnut mane and tail and chestnut colored flecks, grey knees and hocks, 4 stockings, and tan hooves.
Released through Sears in 1989 as the Stablemate Assortment I (or 12-Piece Stablemate Set) #495600 (Sears #49-37902). This set included an alabaster Arabian Mare, steel grey Arabian Stallion, red roan Citation, dapple grey Draft Horse, palomino Morgan Mare, chestnut/red dun Morgan Stallion, red bay Native Dancer, black Saddlebred, red chestnut Seabiscuit, buckskin Silky Sullivan, blue roan Swaps and a dark/medium bay Thoroughbred Mare. These models were made from the heavier Cellulose Acetate plastic. 4500 of these sets were made.
