Black, bald face with pinking on nose and in ears, and four stockings with grey or black hooves. Sold as set #1422 with the matching Grazing Foal in 1964-1965. From 1964-1968, this mold was called 'Buttons', and then in the 1969 catalog it was called the Grazing Mare. In 1970, this model was available in the Showcase Collection box as #1420.
This model has the round Breyer Molding Co Copyright Stamp, and unsure if the USA Stamp was ever added. Typically the USA Stamp was added around 1970, but this model was discontinued in 1970.
