Dark bay with star and striped socks on the back legs. An uncommon early variation is a dorsal stripe. Models originally had the round Breyer Molding Co Copyright Stamp, then around 1970, the USA Stamp was added. 1971-1973 this model was available as part of the Presentation Collection (#50 or #5050). It stood on a Walnut wood base with a brass plate that read 'Adios'. It was also released in the Showcase Collection from 1971-1972 as #5000.
"This is the Adios Presentation Piece, though it is not the one released as part of the Presentation Series in the early 1970s. This model has a different base and a different name plate and was commissioned as a special run by Adios' owner, Delvin Miller in 1969, so it actually pre-dates the better known Presentation collection models. Overstock of these models were offered again by Miller in 1981." - Kirsten Wellman.
Still researching if this model ever had a B Stamp.
