In 1984-1985, this model was only available through Sears (#49N21049) and included a leather halter, and "Our First Pony" story by Marguerite Henry. The story is based on the family of Peter Stone. These models have more greyish tan hooves.
From 1987-1996, the Marguerite Henry's Our First Pony Gift Set #3066 included a Black Tobiano Shetland Pony (Midge) with halter, and Black Pinto Mustang Foal (Teeny) and a Bay Pinto Arabian Foal (Friday). These models have pink hooves.
