On the evening of March 8, 2012, Zenyatta gave birth to a striking dark bay colt. Unfortunately, Cozmic One's racing career was less than stellar, only earning $5,770 in five starts. However, he has now moved on to a new job: public ambassador! "Coz" has been retrained under saddle as a show jumper by Isabela de Sousa of De Sousa Stables as part of the Retired Racehorse Project, an equine movement dedicated to giving off-the-track Thoroughbreds a second career after their racing days come to an end. Isabela and Coz placed 5th out of 97 entries in the show jumping division at RRP's annual "Thoroughbred Makeover" challenge in 2018!. It's safe to say that this isn't the last we'll see of Cozmic One, his career is only just beginning.
