This model was released in the Series III Carousel Cool Down Playset #3970, Winners Choice Micro Horses by Creata International. Set included a Black Pinto Show Pose Saddlebred, Palomino High Stepping Saddlebred, Chestnut Jog Trot Mare, 2 dolls, hot walker, water trough, stool, feed bags and hay bale. This model has the same pattern as the Series 1 Carousel set. The Series III models had a very short sales run as there were production issues with Creata International.
This set was considered a Special Run or Collector's Edition, and produced by Creata International for Specialty Market stores (smaller retail stores). Breyer purchased the mold and accessories in 2004.
