"Test for a never-produced gift line, 'Hot2Trot'. Models were molded in plastic with a resin core. The proposed line was on display at the LA Gift Show in 2004. The decorated models were intended to be home interior decorations, not toys. This one was purchased from the seller in the LA area who acquired several models by a storage unit auction. The Florentine Classic Black Beauty models on display in the archive room at Breyer HQ are marked with the name, 'Spatterware'." Information supplied by Kelly Korber Weimer.
