"This is a Test run on Zippo Pine Bar (mold#466). He's a leopard Appy pattern with dark brown spots, soft shading on the face and a dark muzzle and hooves. What's REALLY special about this guy is the very very soft undercoat of faint grey dappling that you can see on his withers and barrel - he's just gorgeous. Zippo Pine Bar was a legendary Western Pleasure Horse in the Quarter Horse World - won just about everything in his day and went on to do well as a breeding stallion. Sommer Prosser sculpted him and Breyer released him in 1999. Not sure who painted this Test Run because they are often unmarked but we guess that it might have been Karen Williams." www.breyerhorses.com. Breyer posted this on their Facebook page December 2010 - so made on or before 2010.
