"Breyer's model horse magazine, Just About Horses, was one of the first avenues where Breyer offered limited special run models intended for the collector market. One of these models was the dapple grey Cantering Welsh Pony in 1985. Like today's Web Specials, these models were sold via random selection from a pool of interested entrants! You'll notice that the model was offered to "BMACSA" members - this stands for the Breyer Model Animal Collectors and Showers Association, which was a model horse club run by Breyer.
