Advertised as a dark bay or liver chestnut, without black points but darker models can have a charcoal mane and tail. Model has either 3 or 4 socks, with the 3 sock variation being the earliest. Most eye whites had ended by 1969. An uncommon glossy finish is also found on earlier models. Hooves are grey, halters can be reddish brown or black, and models have a solid face.
Has the round Breyer Molding Co Copyright Stamp and some models have a B Stamp, which signifies a different plastic blend was used for the mold.
