Western Horse: Black Beauty

Glossy, black molded plastic, no white markings and brown or gold hooves, gold bridle, black breast collar with gold studs and straps, black snap-on saddle with gold trim and chain or O-link reins. I think these models all had the high grommet saddles, and the O'Link reins would definitely come with the high grommet saddles. It's estimated that the O-link reins were discontinued in 1953 and the high grommet saddles were seen in 1954-55 catalogs.

Besides size, the main difference between the Western Horse and the Western Pony is three studs on the bridle, instead of the four found on the Pony.
