Based on a real horse owned by Velma Johnston (Wild Horse Annie) whose story is told by Marguerite Henry in the book "Mustang, Wild Spirt of the West". Annie was instrumental in saving wild mustangs. Made with a detachable plastic base. The name on the plastic base changes with each release. Originally had a double heart brand on the left hip, but was removed by 1993.
