Solid grey with black points and a blaze. Most models were released with 4 stockings and grey hooves, and during the last year the model was released with 1 stocking on the back left leg, the other legs were black and they all had brown hooves (and wouldn't have a B Stamp). Model was released from 1981-1985 as a single model #69 and in the Smoky the Cow Horse Gift Set #2090 that included a paperback book "Smoky the Cow Horse" by Will James.
In 1981, it was released through JCP as a single model (926-8749) and with book and bareback pad (926-8731), released through Montgomery Ward as a single model (48T24801) and with book and bareback pad (48T24809), and released through Sears with the paperback book, and in 1982, Sears released the model alone.
In 2014, this model was released as Warehouse Model #430016. The differences are subtle between this release and the original #69; however, this model is missing the brand on the left shoulder, the blaze looks more crisp, and there is a VIN Hoof Stamp. See separate record for photos.
Has the round Breyer Molding Co Copyright Stamp, and some models have a B Stamp, which signifies a different plastic blend was used for the mold.
