The Bitsy Breyer English Set #1005 included Bitsy Breyer doll, English Tack, and comb from 1983-1987, in Bay, Chestnut and Black. In 1983, this set was exclusively available through JC Penney (even though the Arabian is pictured).
In 1983, this model was available through Montgomery Ward in The Little Bits set #62682. The set included a Grey Arabian, Bay Morgan, Black Thoroughbred and Palomino Quarter Horse. Also included was a Bitsy Breyer doll with red and white jockey silks and plastic racing tack. The Chestnut Arabian was pictured in the catalog, not confirmed if the Chestnut or Grey Arabian was actually used.
