Snowbound

"Snowbound, the first horse ridden to an individual Olympic gold medal by an American rider. Snowbound's historic win took place at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics, with Bill Steinkraus aboard. His Breyer model was produced in 1996 as a celebration of the then-upcoming Atlanta games, and was created as a limited edition of 14,000 pieces. Each model included a a certificate of authenticity with Snowbound's backstory." www.breyerhorses.com. Jump has USET and Olympic Logo stickers.

The jump on this model was retooled to include the USET and Olympic logos. The round Breyer Molding Co Copyright Stamp was also removed from the jump and the linear Copyright Breyer Reeves Stamp was added.

Advertised as 14,000 models produced; however, according to Nancy Young's 5th Edition of "Breyer Horses, Riders, & Animals Molds & Models", and JAH Editor Stephanie Macejko, only 5000 models were actually made. Contact me if you have a COA with a number higher than 5000.
