AQHA Foundation Sire Series: Progeny of Leo

2nd out of 4 in the Foundation Sire Series. Came with a Registration application. Chestnut with darker mane and tail, 4 socks with grey hooves, slight grey stripes in tail, dorsal stripe and a blaze. Based on one of the major foundation stallions of the Quarter Horse breed from a painting by Orren Mixer, as seen pictured in the 1996 catalog. However, this model is not an actual portrait, but a representation of an offspring of Leo. Model has an 'AQHA '96' stamp on the inner back left leg.

This model was originally released as #498, but painted very similar to Wimpy #497, without socks. It even had the 'AQHA '95' Stamp. Several hundred models are thought to have been released.

In 1996, this model was also released through Sears; however, the model pictured looks like #497 Wimpy.
