Prancer: Black - TV's Fury

These models were either black plastic or painted black on white plastic, and had a glossy appearance. The four socks were usually painted on, but some could be unpainted white plastic, and could have black, grey or white hooves. The face has a stenciled V-shaped star. The mane and tail were same as the body. The breast collar, saddle trim, and bridle were usually all black (unpainted) on these models. Many of these models were released without reins, and they came with a green and white paper saddle with "TV's Fury" printed in white. The cinch was actually glued together, so it was easy to rip off, which makes them so difficult to find these days.

"This is the elusive Fury with Paper Saddle. Model (pictured) sports an original saddle. Beware of color-copied reproductions! The repros I have seen have all been initialed on the girth by the woman who sold them. This model was purchased before the repros became available. Two variations on the Fury model (2nd picture); the one on the left has painted white socks while the one on the right has bare plastic socks (and a painted blaze)." - Kirsten Wellman.

Originally had no Copyright Stamp, then around 1960 the round Breyer Molding Co Copyright Stamp was added.
