Glossy alabaster with grey shading and pinking on nose and in ears. Sold as a set with matching Family Arabian Mare and Family Arabian Foal. Had 1988 or 88 hand written on belly. Basically a re-release of #7. Made for the 25th Anniversary of The Enchanted Doll House in VA; however many sets (or single models) were sold by mail order companies like Small World and Bentley Sales, and some of those models did not have the hand written date.
These models are almost indistinguishable from the original run. If the FAM or the FAS did not have the hand numbered year, one other difference is the addition of the USA Stamp; however, there are some original regular runs that did get the USA Stamp. If the face has no pink, it is thought to be an original regular run. The special run foal did not have a USA Stamp, so basically the model has to have the writing and the pinking to know for sure.
