Charcoal color ranges from dark brown to black, with white mane and tail, bald face with pink ears and nose, and four stockings with pink hooves. Early models had eye whites (most eye whites had ended by 1969). The name 'Dickory' was dropped by the 1969 catalog. Models were advertised in a matte finish in the later 1968 catalog. Both sizes of the blue ribbon stickers were used.
From 1961-1964, set #223 included the Family Arabian Mare and Family Arabian Foal, and set #213 included the Family Arabian Stallion, Family Arabian Mare and Family Arabian Foal. From 1968-1970, the touch-ability boxes #202SP were used, and in 1970-1972 the Showcase Collection boxes were used as #2020.
Originally had the round Breyer Molding Co Copyright Stamp, and around 1970, the USA Stamp was added.
