From 2006-2009 this model was released in the Horse and Foal Set - Appaloosa #5921 that included Cantering Warmblood and Trotting Foal. #5920 is the number given to this series of Horse and Foal sets. Released late in 2006, so was not pictured in the 2006 catalog. This same set sold through Target as #720599. In 2011-2015, this set was again released as #5930. In 2015 these sets were released as W5945. In 2006, the appaloosa pattern had a stenciled look, and starting 2007, the appaloosa pattern had spots. This set #5930 was on the 2015 Retired List, but also shown in the 2015/2016 catalog.
This model was also part of the Emergency Animal Rescue Set #710724 from 2009-2015. This set included the Cantering Warmblood, Donkey, Trotting Foal, Cow, Goat, Sheep, Sitting Dog, 2 dolls, and a truck and trailer.
IIn 2009, this model was part of the Cherry Creek Western Ranch Set #710717. This set included the Cantering Warmblood, Standing Stock Horse, 3 barrels, 4 pieces of fencing, water trough, Border Collie, Cow, Calf, 2 dolls, 2 sets of western tack, hitching post, hay bale and play mat. The special edition from Mid States stores included 3 additional Stablemates (need info on which ones), a Longhorn Bull and Calf.
There are slight variations to the blanket pattern and colors can look like different shades of bay or maybe even Buckskin.
