Based on a real horse owned by Debbie Herzman, who won a JAH essay contest titled "Why My Horse Would Love to be a Breyer Model". Early variations had a bald face and hand painted spots or a bald face and stenciled air-brushed spots. The most common variation has the stenciled air-brushed spots with a partial bald face at the top, and darker shading lower on the face and nose. The bald area forms a 'V' shape that ends right above the nose. Models have hand painted eye whites. On the 1997 Retired List.
