Found in the Lavender Pit copper mine, this turquoise is prized for its unique copper veining which is represented by copper-toned pinto markings on this unique mare. When developing this model, we tested both a matte and glossy finish – ultimately the final model was released with a matte finish and the glossy test piece has remained in the Breyer Archive since then.
