Boxer: Fawn

Light brown or fawn color, front stockings, black muzzle and a blaze. Most models have eyes with a black iris and eye whites, but some have a green iris with a tiny white speck in the middle. Some models have a dorsal stripe. This model was released with a snap-on vinyl collar with brass studs, a choke chain collar, or no collar. The 1954 catalog is the only catalog to show the vinyl collar, all other catalogs show the chain collar. However, the vinyl collar appears to be very common, so a combination of collars were probably used through the years. The 1973 dealer catalog mentions the chain is no longer available. Glossy models were the earliest, lasting to around 1963 (as seen in the catalog) and then in matte finish. There are also semi-gloss variations.

This mold was inspired by a porcelain model sculpted by Edward Boehm. It does not have a mold copyright stamp.
