From 2002-2006 this model was part of the Dog House Gift Set #1540. Set included a leather collar and leash, plaid pillow, dog bone, rope pull toy, hot dog squeaky toy and dish. This model differs from #1505 in that it is missing the belly spot. On the 2006 Retired List.
Re-released mid-year 2010 as #1508, so not pictured in the 2010 catalog. Also for 2016, only pictured in the 2016 Dealer catalog. In 2010, the dog was now named Madison (previously it was referred to as a he). Colors have varied from brown to dark brown.
Set #1508 is pictured with the dog having a half white face; however, many #1540 sets also had this variation of color on the dog, even though the advertising photo had the mostly brown face.
