Solid Black with either black or tan hooves. Released as a single model #401 from 1981-1988. This model has the round Breyer Molding Co Copyright Stamp only, and some models have a B Stamp, which signifies a different plastic blend was used for the mold.
From 1981-1983, set #2095 came with a poster and the book "The Black Stallion" by Walter Farley.
From 1981-1985, this model was released in the Black Stallion and Alec Racing Set #3000. It included Jockey, Alec Ramsey with silks, Black Stallion model with the purple #3 Race Tack #2385 set, and book "The Black Stallion" by Walter Farley.
