Jumping Horse: Bay aka Stonewall

On the boxes and in the box catalogs, the Jumping Horse was referred to as Stonewall from 1964-1968, and from 1969-1988 he was just referred to as the Jumping Horse. However, in the 1965 Montgomery Ward Christmas Catalog, he was called Jumping Horse. Bay with two, three or four stockings and a bald face. An uncommon variation is no socks and a solid face. Most Chalky models were made between 1973-1976. Came with a plastic tan and green stonewall jump. Originally both the horse and the jump had the round Breyer Molding Co Copyright Stamp, and around 1970, the USA Stamp was added to the horse.

In 1984, this model was released in the U.S.E.T. Traditional Assortment #6984. Assortment included Morganglanz #59, Trakehner #54, Jumping Horse #300, Hanoverian #58, and Halla #63. These were all regular run models, but packaged with a paper strip, under the shrink wrap of the box, that had a photo of a rider on a grey horse to show horses used by the USET Team, and to advertise that Breyer was an official sponsor of USET.

The 1976 Catalog shows a much darker variation, possibly without stockings.
