Marguerite Henry’s Misty

Palomino Paint released as a single model #20/#207 from 1972-2006. Color varies from a light tan to a yellow orange to a dark chestnut color. There have been many variations with the pinto pattern. The first releases of 1972 are referred to as 'Four Eyed', and have a circle of white around the left eye, a slightly different pinto pattern, grey hooves, and most have a glossy finish. This variation was quickly changed as that spot did not represent the real Misty. Around 1973, there was a variation to the common pinto pattern that extended over the entire back. These models also had a glossy finish and grey hooves. The more common models have pink hooves. Ongoing research to find more photos of the different variations. Models released in the first 3 months of 1997 had bicolor eyes. On the 2006 Retired List.
