There were three different Brown Swiss Cow special runs, plus the original release. They were all very similar, with subtle differences, and someday I hope to have comparison photos. They were all mostly a medium brown with solid face, 4 stockings and grey hooves, white nose with grey tip, all white or pinking on udder, and a black, grey or white tail tuft.
Around 1983-1985, this special run had brown horns and the tail tuft was more black. Estimated very few were made.
In 1988, this special run was the polled version (without horns) as #413341, and an estimated 200 models were sold through Bentley Sales Co and other mail order companies. This release may have udders that were pink and tan, and more of a grey tail tuft. The white patch on the chest appears to be larger than the 1993 special run.
In 1993, this special run was also the polled version and released in the Dairy Cow Assortment #410693. 200 models were made for Bentley Sales.
