In 1978-1979, this model was available through Sears as the Appaloosa Stallion with Western Tack. Sold as a single model #49N2186 or with Western tack #49N2184 (Breyer #6610 on box). Based on the catalog photos, 1978 showed a saddle with a longer fender, presumably #3910. In the 1979 catalog, the saddle set #2355 with shorter fenders was shown.
In 1983, it was sold by Sears only with the Western tack #2355, as Sears #49C20120.
In 1981, this model was available through Sears as Stud Spider with Racing Saddle and Book #49C21034. The set included the book, "Let’s Go to the Races with the Appaloosa" by Jim Brolin, a leather racing saddle, leather bridle, and saddle pad with elastic girth.
