Bay Appaloosa with black mane and tail, 4 stockings, grey hooves, and solid face. Most models had black or dark grey shading on legs. Variations included no black on legs, pared down back right hoof, no socks with black legs, and no socks with bay shaded lower legs. Sometimes the socks can appear more grey than white. The bay color can vary from very light, almost buckskin, to a darker red bay.
Released as Appaloosa Stock Horse Stallion with English Tack through Montgomery Ward in 1981 as a single horse (48T24800) and with English tack (48T24808), doll not included. The tack is Breyer #2350. Model might be the same as #232, but looks like a test version was used in the catalog picture.
Model pictured is more of a buckskin color with the brown shaded legs, and it has the B stamp. See separate record for the regular release version.
