This model was released in the Series I Deluxe Stable Playset #3970, Winners Choice Micro Horses by Creata International. Per Artist Candace Liddy, the packaging was completed in 1996, however the models were not available until 1997. This set included a Dun Appaloosa Walking Arabian, Grey Sliding Stop QH, Bay Grazing Foal, Chestnut Romping Foal, stable, 3 dolls, 3 barrels, feed bags, hay bales, water trough and misc accessories. This set was also listed as a Series 2 #3980 in 1997.
These sets were all produced for Mass Market stores (larger retail stores like Target).
Breyer bought this mold and accessories in 2004.
