Chestnut with solid face and unpainted ribbons. From 1971-1976, the #105 chestnut Cantering Welsh Pony had red ribbons and a bald face (separate record). That model was discontinued in 1976, and brought back in 1979 by popular demand, but did not have the painted ribbons, the face was now solid, and the color had a deeper red chestnut color. Not advertised in the 1977 and 1978 catalogs.
Has the round Breyer Molding Co Copyright Stamp, a USA Stamp, and a CHESS Stamp, and some models have a B Stamp, which signifies a different plastic blend was used for the mold. CHESS stands for Chris Hess.
