This model was released in the Series I Deluxe Stable Playset #3970, Winners Choice Micro Horses by Creata International. Per Artist Candace Liddy, the packaging was completed in 1996, however the models were not available until 1997. Breyer bought this mold and accessories in 2004. This set included a Dun Appaloosa Walking Arabian, Grey Sliding Stop QH, Bay Grazing Foal, Chestnut Romping Foal, stable, 3 dolls, 3 barrels, feed bags, hay bales, water trough and misc accessories. This set was also listed as a Series 2 #3980 for 1997. This set was produced for Mass Market stores (larger retail stores like Target).
Also in 1997, this model was released in the Series 2 set #39701 Pretty Pasture Playset. Set included a stable, doll, pond, hedges, hay, grain and fencing, and the Sliding Stop QH and Standing QH.
