This model was released in the Series I Carousel Cool-Down Playset #3970, Winners Choice Micro Horses by Creata International. Per Artist Candace Liddy, the packaging was completed in 1996, however the models were not available until 1997. Set included a Dark Grey with Black Points Show Pose Saddlebred, Light Grey High Stepping Saddlebred, Bay Jog Trot Mare, 2 dolls, hot walker, water trough, stool, feed bags and hay bales. Breyer bought this mold and accessories in 2004.
This set was considered a Special Run or Collector's Edition, and produced by Creata International for Specialty Market stores (smaller retail stores).
