This model was released in the Series I Champion Corral Playset #3970, Winners Choice Micro Horses by Creata International. Per Artist Candace Liddy, the packaging was completed in 1996, however the models were not available until 1997. Breyer bought this mold and accessories in 2004. Set included a Chestnut Playful Arabian and Grey Appaloosa Standing Quarter Horse, fencing, gate, 2 dolls, 3 barrels, feed bags, hay bale and jump.
This set was considered a Special Run or Collector's Edition, and produced by Creata International for Specialty Market stores (smaller retail stores).
