This model was released in the Series 2 Paint Horse Set #39601, Winners Choice Micro Horses by Creata International in 1997. This set was produced for Mass Market stores (larger retail stores like Target).
Also in 1997, this model was released in the Series 2 set #39701 Pretty Pasture Playset. Set included a stable, doll, pond, hedges, hay, grain and fencing, and the Sliding Stop QH and Standing QH.
In 2001, this set as #2333, was rebranded by the Nylint Corporation. The models were the exact same, including the copyright stamp, but packaged with a rider figure.
Breyer bought this mold and accessories in 2004.
