Surrey & Axle

"First manufactured in Surrey, England, the Surrey cart was a doorless, two-axled carriage that was popular in the United States during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Surrey offered a variety of top options, from rigid to convertible to fringed, allowing drivers to show off their own particular style. To commemorate these trendy carriages for our celebration of Driving Forward this summer, we’ve done our Surrey & Axle models as a gorgeous few spot leopard appaloosa mare on Lady Phase, mold #40, with a swish tail and an adorable blanket appaloosa foal on the Stock Horse Foal, mold #228, both sculpted by Chris Hess." www.breyerhorses.com.

Advertised with the Standing Stock Horse Foal, and the surprise variation was the Action Stock Horse Foal. The total run of 2300 was split 50/50 between the two foals (1150 each).
