The bay can range from very dark or plum colored (like in the #3085 set), or more of a sandy or baby bay color. Mane and tail are charcoal or black but no black on the legs, no or various stockings with grey or charcoal hooves, and a solid face. Lighter variations of this model can be easily confused with the chestnut version. Came in a set with matching bay Lying Foal. From 1975-1976, released as a single model #5700.
