Pegasus

Alabaster with pink hooves, pink nose and detachable wings. Available through JC Penney in 1983-1984, and through Montgomery Ward in 1984. The 1983 JCP ad describes the wings as flexible, and there could be an early version of this model with a different type of plastic for the wings.

The Classic Lipizzan Stallion mold was retooled with slits in the back to add detachable Pegasus wings. This mold has the round Breyer Molding Co Copyright Stamp. The wings do not have any mold stamps; however some early wings had an L and R for left and right wing location.
