Dark Bay with black points, solid face and various socks. The model pictured in the catalogs with a blaze was a prototype as none of the released models had face markings. Released in the Stablemate Stable Set #3085 with a cardboard stable, and included the Quarter Horse Mare, Quarter Horse Stallion, and the Thoroughbred Standing and Lying Foals. The QH Stallion was replaced by Seabiscuit around 1979. In 1976, the stable was available without models as #7200.
Early models did not have a mold stamp, then a Copyright Breyer Molding Co 1976 was added. These models were made from the heavier Cellulose Acetate plastic.
