This model was released in the Quarter Horse Gift Set #3045 from 1974-1993, and included a bay Quarter Horse Mare, palomino Stallion and bay Foal, in a carrying case. Early variations had a star. Color variations included various socks, a light tan palomino to a dark almost chestnut palomino. Mane and tail colors varied from same body color to a white or flaxen color.
In 1974, this Quarter Horse set was released through Sears. In 1976, this set was released through Montgomery Ward.
In 1996-1997, this model and the mare from the #3045 set, was available as a Warehouse Find #8916.
