In 1981, this model was available through Sears, Montgomery Ward and JC Penney with a leather saddle. The model pictured in the catalogs shows a test model, it has the 1 sock but also includes a blaze. The regular release, with 1 or 4 socks, did not have a blaze. The 1 sock variation can be dated to 1981-1982 to follow these Christmas catalog releases.
In 1982, this model was available through JC Penney, and in 1983 it was available through JC Penney with Western tack.
