Chestnut with bald face and red ribbons. Color variations ranged from a light tan chestnut to a darker reddish chestnut. From 1979-1981 the ribbons were not painted, and the face was a solid color (separate record). Not advertised in the 1977 and 1978 catalogs, and was brought back in 1979 by popular demand.
Has the round Breyer Molding Co Copyright Stamp, a USA Stamp, and a CHESS Stamp. CHESS stands for Chris Hess.
