Reddish brown and white with brown halter. Most models were glossy. Three different versions were available; the poodle cut, where the barrel is smooth, was the first version, estimated around 1961-1962; the semi-rough coat, where the back and croup is smooth but the barrel has a rough curly coat, is estimated around 1961-62 (an in-between version); and, the full rough curly coat, the most common variation, started around 1963, as seen in the 1963 catalog.
