Palomino with white points, four socks with grey hooves, and bald face with pinking on nose and in ears. Palomino colors varied from a light tan to dark palomino color. An uncommon variation is a solid face. Sold as set #1433 with the matching Grazing Foal in 1964-1965. From 1964-1968, this mold was called 'Buttons', and then in the 1969 catalog it was called the Grazing Mare. In 1971-1972, this model was available in the Showcase Collection box as #1430.
In 1973, this model was available through JC Penney with the matching Grazing Foal.
Model was discontinued for 1977, but brought back in 1978 by popular demand. Originally had the round Breyer Molding Co Copyright Stamp, and around 1970, the USA Stamp was added. Unsure if this model ever had a B Stamp.
