Dapple Grey with various stockings (most models have 4), grey hooves and bald face. Color varied from a soft light dapple grey to a very dark dapple grey. Originally released in the Andalusian Family set that included an Alabaster Stallion, Dapple Grey Mare and Chestnut Foal. Models from around 1987 have been known to shrink.
The set was sold through Montgomery Ward in 1978-1979, and Sears (#49C21029) in 1979-1981. A few models were released in 1996-1997 as #8925 as overstock warehouse models.
Has the round Breyer Molding Co Copyright Stamp, and some models have a B Stamp, which signifies a different plastic blend was used for the mold.
